We’re Jodi and Bryan Patton, the faces behind J&B Patton Family Photo. We're a husband-and-wife team who believe great photos aren’t just about looking good—they're about feeling something when you look back at them years from now.

We specialize in capturing the beautiful chaos of family life and the once-in-a-lifetime milestone of graduating high school. Whether we’re photographing toddlers with big personalities or seniors stepping into adulthood, we’re all about creating an experience that’s comfortable, personal, and fun—because that’s when the magic happens.

Jodi is the friendly and chatty personality that keeps sessions moving, the energy light, and somehow always knows when to crack the right joke or fix that stubborn flyaway. Bryan is the calm steady presence.  Together, we balance the technical with the human side of photography—making sure you not only look great, but enjoy the process too.

Our home base is in Troy, and we shoot all over Metro Detroit—Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, and Washtenaw counties are where you'll usually find us with cameras in hand and a trunk full of gear. We’ve photographed many families and seniors, and the one thing we hear over and over again is, “That was actually fun.”

Because your session shouldn’t feel like a chore. It should feel like an afternoon well spent—laughing, playing, telling stories, and making memories. The photos are just the bonus.

When we're not behind the camera, you can find us wrangling our own family (6 kids), arguing over who should make dinner, or spending weekends exploring Michigan's trails, parks, and small-town diners.
